Matthew Doyle ‘98 was named to Worcester Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” list — a yearly recognition that honors the best and brightest business leaders under 40 in Central Massachusetts.
Among his many accomplishments, Doyle built a central commissary that supplies fresh baked goods to his family’s Dunkin’ Donuts shops, including the Assumption location. Later, he established a real estate business, Branded Reality Group, which was recently recognized with an award for its renovation of Harrington Corner.
Doyle has participated as a guest speaker at the Assumption’s Greyhound Association for Marketing Enrichment, GAME — collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association. Intended for marketing students and other business majors, GAME hosts several guest speakers each year offering insight into the potential career paths for students pursuing business degrees. As part of their 2010-2011 Guest Speaker Series, GAME invited him to discuss topics related to small business marketing.
Recently, Doyle also participated as one of the sponsors of the 41st annual Father Bissonnette Invitational (FBI) Golf Tournament, which raised more than $80,000 to benefit the College’s Athletics Department and general scholarship fund.
For Doyle and many Assumption students, the connection with their school does not end at graduation, but continues on as they become involved with different alumni activities. From student mentoring, speaking engagements, sponsorship opportunities and alumni regional clubs, Assumption alumni not only stay connected but also help their college and current students in meaningful ways.
